Gas in Building 1 (apartments 1-7 and 19-24) was turned off during the fire. To restore your gas service please call Texas Gas Service at 1-800-700-2443. Gas is used at the Diplomat for the furnace only; we supply gas to heat the water, so again everyone's hot water should already be on. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Cold and hot water are back! Many thanks to our team members who have been at the Diplomat since 3 am working hard to ensure everyone's safety and that services are restored.

Dear Diplomat Residents,
There was a fire at the Diplomat early this morning. Everyone affected is safe and has lodging. Firefighters arrived promptly to control the fire, and both our staff and Red Cross provided assistance to those affected. The Fire Department has established that it is safe to remain in the building and we are very grateful to everyone who helped during the emergency.
The property's water is shut off due to the fire. Our staff is onsite and awaiting the plumber for an emergency repair to restore water as soon as possible. Since the plumber has not yet arrived we are currently unable to provide an approximate timeframe for repair but our goal is to have it working again today as early as possible.
Please note that all toilets have ONE FLUSH stored in the tank.
Please check this webpage for updates, all new information will be posted here as soon as it is received. Once the water has been restored we will also send out a text informing residents that it's back on (but all updates until that moment will only be shared on this site).
