RENTER'S INSURANCE

​All residents are required to maintain an active Renters Insurance policy throughout their tenancy with a minimum of $100,000 in personal liability coverage.

​

Pearl Properties partners with ePremium to monitor insurance compliance. While you are free to select any insurance provider, ePremium offers direct integration, eliminating the need to manually submit proof of coverage.

Option 1: Fast-Track Coverage via ePremium

Purchasing directly through ePremium instantly updates your resident account with no documentation upload required.

Option 2: Use Your Own Insurance Provider

​

If you choose a third-party insurer, your policy must meet all specific criteria below to be compliant.

​

Step 1: Update your policy to list Pearl Properties as an "Interested Party"

  • Name: Pearl Properties

  • Address: PO Box 498067, Cincinnati, OH 45249

 

Step 2: Verify your Policy Declarations Page includes the following:

  • All leaseholder full names

  • Exact property address and unit number

  • Policy number and current coverage dates (start/end date)

  • Minimum $100,000 personal liability coverage

 

Step 3: Upload your documentation

  • Go to www.epremiuminsurance.com > Renters Insurance > Upload Proof of Coverage​ and enter your zip code to locate your apartment community

Compliance Deadlines & Non-Compliance Fees

  • Processing Window: Document reviews take 3 to 5 business days. Submit your policy early to allow adequate verification time.

  • Deadline: Proof of active, compliant coverage must be approved by ePremium prior to the first of the month.

  • Non-Compliance Fee: Accounts without approved proof of insurance on file after the deadline will be assessed a $25 monthly Non-Compliance Fee on their ledger until valid documentation is verified. This fee does not constitute insurance coverage.
